The past year and a half presented us with many challenges, but also gave us new opportunities to worship, serve and grow.
We gather on Sundays at 9am in person in the Sanctuary. If you have been vaccinated, no masks are necessary. In addition to our in person services, we offer sermons and reflections online.
On FaceBook, look for our two group pages: St. Matt's and Saint Matthew's Episcopal Church and Preschool. We post Compline each evening on these sites, as well as our Sunday worship. We also provide information on Christian Formation classes, Godly Play, and other parish opportunities.
The Saint Matthew's Food Pantry has continued to serve the community and is open every Wednesday morning from 10am-11:30am. The Saint Matthew's Free Medical Clinic is open every Wednesday from 10am-2pm and is staffed by doctors and medical students. The Saint Matthew's Preschool is open every weekday and offers childcare following the latest SC DHEC safety guidelines.
If you have a pastoral need, our clergy are available and can be reached through the church office or through their numbers listed in our parish newsletter, The Grapevine.
All of these things are possible through the faithful stewardship and volunteerism of our members and guests. The link to our online giving option is here.
We pray diligently for all those impacted by the pandemic. Remember the words of the Right Reverend Barbara Harris - "The Power behind us is greater than the challenges in front of us."
God bless!
