2026 Summer Camp at St. Matthew’s!

Looking for a fun, safe, and enriching summer experience for your young child?

St. Matthew’s Episcopal Preschool Summer Camp offers a joyful, faith-based program designed especially for rising 5K, 1st, and 2nd graders.

Each week brings a new adventure with exciting themes like Art Gallery Extravaganza, Space: Up, Up and Away, and Exploring Animal Ecosystems—sparking curiosity, creativity, and hands-on discovery.

Your child will enjoy engaging activities, make new friends, and create wonderful summer memories in a caring, nurturing environment. Week-long camps begin May 26 and run through the end of July. Early Bird and Sibling discounts help make camp more affordable for families.

For Rising 5K-2nd Grade

May 26–July 31, 2026
Monday–Friday | 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Nine Themed Weeks

St. Matthew’s Summer Camp is a faith-based, theme-driven program offering a safe, engaging environment where children learn, create, and grow through a blend of academics, STEM, the arts, outdoor play, and hands-on experiences aligned with South Carolina standards.

May 26–29 – Let’s Get Physical

June 1–5 – Art Gallery Extravaganza

June 8–12 – Space: Up, Up and Away

June 15–19 – Jesus the Carpenter

June 22–26 – Exploring Animal Ecosystems

June 29–July 3 – No Camp (4th of July Week)

July 6–10 – Travel Around the World

July 13–17 – The Show Goes On
July 20–24 – Let’s Camp Out
July 27–31 – STEAM

What Camp Looks Like

Each week includes:

Small-group focused learning
Academic enrichment and STEM exploration
Creative arts and themed projects
Outdoor play and gross motor activities
In-house field trips
End-of-week showcases

Campers journal through pictures and words and celebrate their summer with a keepsake camp book at the end of the season.

As a faith-based program, campers will also participate in age-appropriate service experiences such as helping in the church food pantry garden.

Daily Schedule

8:30–9:30 – Arrival / Free Center Time
9:30–10:00 – Snack (included)
10:00–10:30 – Morning Circle
10:30–11:30 – Themed Activities
11:30–12:00 – Outdoor / Gross Motor
12:00–12:30 – Lunch (included)
12:30–1:30 – Camp Theme Circle / Movement
1:30–3:00 – Themed Activities & Centers
3:00–3:30 – Snack (included)
3:30–4:30 – Free Center Time
4:30–5:30 – Aftercare / Pickup Window

Schedule may adjust based on camper needs - see below.

Arrival & Pickup

Arrival window: 7:30–8:30 a.m.
Camp program runs: 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Pickup window: 4:30–5:30 p.m.

Please communicate directly with the camp leader regarding any delays. Late pickup fees apply after 5:30 p.m.

Camper Needs

Please send:

Labeled water bottle
Towel (for outdoor sitting activities if needed)
Extra change of clothes (required for Kindergarten campers)

Rates & Registration

$225 per week

Early Bird Rate: $205 per week (register and pay before May 15)
Sibling Rate: $195 per week

A 50% refund applies for cancellations made by May 15. After May 15, refunds are not available.
