Stewardship is about who we are as a people and how we relate to the God who created, saves, and sustains us.  As Christians we understand that everything we have, even life itself, is a pure gift from God.  In response to the many gifts God gives us we, in faith, return a portion of those gifts to God and his Church to support the sharing of the Good News of God in Christ.  Stewardship is the commitment of the gifts one has received from God to the service of the Lord.
At St. Matthew’s we have the opportunity to return a portion of the gifts God has given us by pledging a  portion of our time, talents, and money to the ministries of the Gospel in this place.
For more information about stewardship and the opportunities to put your time, talents, and money to work in the service of the Gospel at St. Matthew’s please speak with a member of the clergy or the vestry.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” (James 1:17)
